About the Show /FAQWho are we?Tim and James are co-owners of a media production company that is pleasantly growing in the Northeast Ohio area (Cleveland). James is obsessed with current events and politics, and Tim keeps him from going insane on a daily basis. Together they provide a funny outlet for news and information. Why should I listen?If you're a socialite, and need conversation material, pull up the show on your way to work. Whenever there is a quiet moment, annoy everyone with how strikingly interesting and witty you have suddenly become. If you don't like social situations, but enjoy laughing quietly at two goofballs as they deliver culturally relevant news and commentary from your radioactive safe bunker, you too will enjoy this show. All of our news and events are timely, but not so much that you can't listen to a past episode. We pick stories that will be interesting and entertaining at any point in history. So we stay away from things like Weather, no one logs in to download a show that talked about yesterday's weather, but if you do, try our show instead, you'll be pleasantly surprised How does the chat work?Remember IRC, that's right back in the day you probably used mIRC to talk with the buddies from the local BB after the local BB was terminated due to a local sexual issue. Well, IRC is what we use for the chat. Log into http://www.therare.net/live and under the streaming video you will see a window called "mibbit" There you can input your chat name and hit connect. You'll be with us. How do I call in?We open the phone lines for calls during the show, so from 12:30 to 1:00 pm eastern, you are welcome to call the show. However if you want your called answered on air you must join the chat first. Once you're in the chat, simply type "BallsMaximus: CALL IN (topic/reason for calling)" Then Call, do it fast because if we move on to another topic, you will have to wait until the calls section of the show. Where we will invite you to call again in the chat room. We don't get paid, we just love youHonestly, we do have a sponsor. M.R.
